The Journey of Brutusagro

Our DNA: Logistics Strength

Our foundation is logistics. We started our journey as Jerolog Soluções Logísticas, under the leadership of our CEO, Jerone Toledo. With technical training and the experience of someone who has worked at all ends of the chain — from freight salesperson to branch manager in large national carriers, including export port operations —, Toledo designed an operation focused on the complex logistics niche for Large Construction Companies (Consortiums) nationwide.

The Strategic Turnaround and Innovation

The economic crisis of 2014 caused a breach of contracts that became the catalyst for our biggest corporate transformation. The search for specialization led to the completion of an MBA in Strategic Management at ISAE/FGV in 2015, where theoretical knowledge joined vast practical experience.

From this fusion of intelligence and the market, Brutusapp was born, a disruptive platform designed to directly connect the industry to the truck driver.

Market Vision: The Birth of Brutusagro

Realizing that the market's digital disruption speed was slower than the need for cash flow, we identified a new critical opportunity. Taking advantage of the strong relationship built in the port area and the solid logistics connections with the North of the country, we mapped a shortage of automotive urea caused by international sanctions on Russia.

It was based on trust — our most valuable currency — that we started the resale of fertilizers.

This successful operation transformed Jerolog and Brutusapp once and for all into Brutusagro Corporate. What began as a tactical response to a market bottleneck expanded, through our strong port relationship, into the commercial powerhouse we are today.

The Present: Asset-Light Ecosystem

Currently, we operate in multiple segments in an integrated manner: agricultural commodities (sugar, soy, corn), fertilizers, integrated logistics, and factoring operating in synergy.
